Thanks Shane. Never reported to ambulance as knew it was broken so just went A & E. It just seemed easier and better to ride the rest of the lap and finish than walk and get those with me to go ge

Major Hadley Round 5 10th October
Major Hadley Round 5 - 10th October 11:00. Online entry here (£36 via paypal)
Print & post here here (£35 cheque or cash) Closing date Sat. 2nd Oct.
Entries after closing date or on the day £40.
As we are nearing the end of the season we are no longer taking yearly memberships. Day membership will be available at £3 all proceeds will go to our chosen charity the Hants & IOW air ambulance.

Major Hadley Rd4 results - 5th Sept
Take 2 of the results - Simon Beken wins rd 4 of Major Hadley
As I am sure you appreciate the manual system has led to a few more attempts at producing the results due to the over lap hole punches or holes not fully punch (next time slow down a bit more to let the girls finish the task pls :) )
Here are the results You will see there are no points allocated yet as this will be discussed at the next club meeting as to the best way to do this to try and keep some format across all the rounds.
Overall results and by class are here.
Note : DNFs, if you are marked as a DNF we didn't have a punch tag for you, or you didn't finish after 14:15.
Despite the timing system problems I hope you all had a good day and enjoyed another lovely dry day as Woodberry.
I think a special recognition should go to Jeremy Straw for sheer dogged determination trying to get his quad round the tight circuit.
A BIG thank you to the ladies (Charlotte, Carol, Lou and Cindy) that jumped in and helped me with the punch hole system.

Air Ambulance donation
Julie,Shane and Paul had a great afternoon at the Air Ambulance centre The clubs Treasurer,Secretary and Chairman were hosted by the Hampshire and IOW Air ambulance crew at Thruxton where the club presented the £4000 cheque that was raised from Junes Ironman event.

The team had a very interesting visit and could not be made to feel more welcome. The Air ambulance organisation were very very grateful for this donation.

Note : Some riders have ridden all 3 rounds so their points will be higher than those having only ridden 1 or 2 rounds. At the end of the season your 5 best results are added together, i.e If you ride all 6 rounds you drop your worst result, if you ride 5 or less rounds all your points will count.
